Trickle Down Economics

People lament the fact that designers are being ripped off by lower chain stores and it's a true concern. My boots (above) are from Target, but they resemble a pair of very stylin' boots from Steve Madden and who knows who the original designer was? My point is that as unfair as it is for those designers who start the trend, not everyone can afford the hefty pricetag of high fashion. So I am glad that Target came out with these boots because after all, isn't imitation the greatest form of flattery? :)
